Gary has been on the stage since he was six when he appeared as Private Affair in 'Topsy Turvy Castle'. Since then has had an astonishing career. He performed with the National Youth Music Theatre for twelve years at many Edinburgh Festivals, several Sadler's Wells productions and a number of television musicals including 'The Roman Invasion of Ramsbottom' and 'The Ragged Child'. He did a drama degree at The Liverpool John Moore's University before studying privately with teachers and coaches at The Royal Northern College of Music for several years. During his RNCM studies he managed a community theatre in North Manchester being Artistic Director for his own Youth Theatre, Community Theatre Company and Pantomime Company. In 2007 he resigned from managing the theatre to pursue his own dream of treading the boards and has been doing so ever since.
