A wonderful afternoon with the residents of Mosslands in Warrington at their Day Centre. A very warm welcome and an emotional walk down memory lane for some. I came away relieved at having done a good job and humbled at the resilience and lives of these people. One lady had been a performer herself having sung and danced for years and shared memories of working with the incomparable Harry Secombe. Another, in tears, told me that her father had been a singer and used to sing many of the songs in my repertoire. Sometimes it's not about the money.
